RC14001 and ISO 14001 Certifications at Anderson Development Company
Adrian, MI - Anderson Development Company (ADC) achieved Responsible Care® 14001 (RC14001) and ISO 14001 certifications. RC14001 is a technical specification that combines the American Chemistry Council’s Responsible Care® initiative with ISO 14001. The goal is to continually improve environmental, health, safety, and security (EHS&S) performance. RC14001 and ISO 14001, along with ISO 9001, are core parts of ADC's integrated management system, and our QEHSS Policy promotes continuous improvement of EHS&S as well as assuring quality products and services for our customers.

A cross functional core team with representatives from operations, engineering, maintenance, materials management, research & development, sales, quality, environmental, health, safety, and security were responsible for implementation. Through strong management support, communication, teamwork, and hard work we successfully achieved the certifications in 10 months. The certification audits were performed by NSF International Strategic Registration, an independent non-profit organization committed to public health, safety, and protection of the environment.
